Sea World summer 2005

Grandma

My Grandmother was a great lady. She passed away years ago but there are so many times I feel her so close. I remember her smell, the way (if I was wearing my glasses) our glasses would clink when we hugged bye. I remember every Sunday after church she would have a full homecooked meal on her table waiting on us. How we started playing uno cards after the dishes where done. I remember how her home looked (for it's changed now that other family lives there). I remember how the sheets smelled when I would spend the night. How it felt the first time I drove her car or the first time she came to my own apartment. I remember family reunions at her house. I remember the tire swing she fixed for me. I remember being scared of the cows when we went fishing at the creek and I had to walk to the truck for something. (the truch was parked in a cow pasture.) I remember picking berries. I remember feeling loved and safe when I visited her home. I remember out of everyone she accepted me for me and my children. She always said, no matter what I did or said, that I could do anything. I remember the red suit she had on at her funeral. I remember how she didn't look dead, but asleep. I remember how much it hurts to know I can't pick up the phone and call her. The pain is still there. I love you Grandma, always.

JROTC

Terrance is 15 this year. He's in Cross Country, JROTC, and 9th grade. He likes the girls but keeps himself busy with
activities. He only looks like the phone is glued to his ear during the first couple of weeks talking to a "new" girl. lol
I'm very proud of him, he's really a good kid.
